Future-Ready Content
"We’re moving quickly toward a web that’s more fluid, less fixed, and more easily accessed on a multitude of devices" -- "We don’t have all the answers, but we do have a clear place to start: with our content itself. As we break our content down, analyze its elements, and document the relationships that turn those elements into a meaningful whole, we can begin to create and manage content in a way that endures, wherever the future leads us." CCC | Wissenschaftliches Gutachten belegt: keine "Schutzlücke" ohne Vorratsdatenspeicherung

"Smashing Magazine turns five. To honor the occasion, we have a humble gift for you: the free “Best of Smashing Magazine” Anniversary eBook." 2011-09-15Ich bin Keiner und Das Ende der Privatheit | Public is The New Private

Browse vs. Search: Which Deserves to Go?
Craig, Craig, Craig! What kind of a debate is it when you and your debating partner are both on the same side? It sounds like you both "know" Browse sucks and Search rules. You just want to know why Apple doesn't know it. -- AskTog, December 2011December 02 2011

Complexity and User Experience - Boxes and Arrows: The design behind the design
The best products don’t focus on features, they focus on clarity. Problems should be fixed through simple solutions, something you don’t have to configure, maintain, control. The perfect solution needs to be so simple and transparent you forget it’s even there. Jon Bolt on 2011/11/22
